Justification | EOO and AOO<1750 km², 12 locations remain after most of this species' habitat has been transformed for wheat cultivation. It continues to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to urban expansion around Malmesbury and Durbanville. |

Threats |
Agriculture is a severe, past threat due to wheat farming. It is still ongoing moderately in certain parts of its range. Urbanization is a moderate past and ongoing threat, especially around Durbanville and Malmesbury, with an additional past loss around Stellenbosch. Grazing, invasive alien species and lack of fire in some patches have also been listed as threats to this species. |
