Justification
EOO and AOO <200 km², less than five locations remain after >80% of this species' habitat has been transformed for wheat cultivation. Ongoing habitat loss to crop cultivation and alien plant invasion is causing a continuing decline.

Description
Loamy flats and low slopes in renosterveld.
Threats
This species' habitat has been fragmented due to >80% transformation for wheat cultivation, but also urban expansion. Habitat loss is ongoing, and in addition, subpopulations remaining on small, degraded fragments are subjected to competition from alien invasive plants.
