Threats |
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss, fragmentation and degradation due to expanding agriculture (particularly protea cultivation for the cut flower industry), coastal development around Arniston, and overgrazing. In addition, many remaining subpopulations are threatened by competition from dense alien invasive plant infestations. |
