Threats |
| Potentially threatened by competition from alien invasive plants, particularly on the Riviersonderend Mountains around Genadendal, where escaped pines are becoming increasingly dense and spreading up the southern slopes of the mountains. This species is a reseeder, and also potentially threatened by too frequent fire. |
Population |
Muraltia concava is a cryptic species, and localized to peaty sands at high altitudes. it is known from only a few records, but is quite likely overlooked.
