EOO 1933 km², an estimated 10-15 locations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to coastal development and alien plant invasion.

Description
Rocky limestone slopes near the coast.

Population

Known from only 13 collections, but likely to be overlooked and under-collected (N.A. Helme pers. comm.). Most collections are from in and around De Hoop Nature Reserve. The most recent collection (2000) describes the population as locally common within suitable habitat.
