Potentially threatened by acacias on the Potberg. Although alien invasive plants are being managed within De Hoop Nature Reserve, dense former infestations as well as remaining alien plants outside the boundaries of the nature reserve means that ongoing management and clearing is needed to prevent reinvasion.
