Justification | A southern KwaZulu-Natal endemic that has a very restricted range. Both the extent of occurrence (EOO) and area of occupancy (AOO) are estimated at 16 km², and the species is found at four locations. The population is potentially vulnerable to habitat degradation. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion D. |

This reseeder was collected for the first time in 2005. It appears to be rare and localized, and the population is not suspected to be declining.
