Justification
EOO and AOO <40 km², less than 10 locations and fewer than 10 000 mature individuals remain. At least 10% of this species' habitat has been transformed to pasture and degraded by alien plant invasion and livestock grazing in the past 30 years (generation length 10 years) and decline continues.

Description
Renosterveld-fynbos transition on lower slopes, on thin sands mixed with gravel on horizontal sandstone rocks, 600 m.
Threats
Pines, Hakea and Black Wattle are the predominant threat. Livestock grazing soon after fire on the northern side of Garcia's Pass is a threat to this species. There has been a loss of habitat of much more than 10% in the past three generations.
