Justification
EOO 166 km², three known locations remain after much of this species' habitat has been converted to forestry plantations. It continues to decline due to alien plant invasion of the habitat.

Description
Ecotone between grassland and dry mistbelt forest and in south-facing grassland areas.
Threats
Much of this species' habitat has been transformed and fragmented by forestry plantations. Remaining subpopulations are threatened by competition from alien invasive plants, and potentially further habitat loss to plantations.
