Known from three locations in a very restricted range (EOO 23 km²). Potentially threatened by agriculture and livestock grazing.

Description
Low-lying drainage lines on dolerite clay soils.
Threats
This species' habitat is highly suitable for crop cultivation, and ± 17% of the habitat is already transformed. Further habitat loss to crop cultivation is a potential threat. One known subpopulation is subjected to heavy grazing.
