Description | This species occurs on stony shale flats or rocky, south-facing slope in clay or very hard, sandy soils. The scape remains attached to the bulb until the capsule dries and the broadly winged, aerodynamic capsules detaches and blown away by wind, dispersing seeds. Pollinating agents are not yet known. |
