Justification
Previously considered to be a Roggeveld endemic, a subpopulation was recently found in the Kamiesberg. It is never common and occurs as small subpopulations. This species has no known threats. It is therefore listed under the IUCN 3.1 Criteria, globally, as Least Concern but is nationally categorised as Rare.
