Population |
Crassula elsieae is known from three isolated subpopulations on the highest peaks in the Cederberg and Skurweberg mountains. It is a highly localized habitat specialist, but also likely to be overlooked and more common than records suggest. Plants are cryptic, and in addition occurs in remote and inaccessible montane areas. As there are no threats, the population is not suspected to be declining.
