Threats |
Some subpopulations are threatened by habitat loss and degradation, mainly due to agriculture, dam construction, fertilizer run-off from agricultural fields, as well as overgrazing. |
Population |
This species is widespread and common. There is ongoing, localized population decline, but this is not significant enough to put this species at risk of extinction.
