Justification | Tylecodon faucium is a range-restricted habitat specialist endemic to the Ceres Karoo and Roggeveld Mountain. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 1516 km², and known from five subpopulations. This species has no recorded threats. It is therefore listed under the IUCN 3.1 Criteria, globally, as Least Concern but is nationally categorised as Rare. |
