Justification
A range-restricted (EOO 6618 km²) and poorly known species, that is suspected to be overlooked and more common than the few known collections indicate. It is tolerant of disturbance and therefore not suspected to be in danger of extinction, although some subpopulations may be threatened by habitat loss to urban expansion, particularly between Polokwane and Tzaneen.
