Justification
Lotononis azureoides is a range-restricted species with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 144 km² and is known from four subpopulations. It has no significant threats and is therefore not in danger of extinction. It is assessed as Least Concern.

This species is endemic to South Africa, and is found on the Nuweveld Escarpment near Beaufort West.

Threats
