This range-restricted (EOO 1135 km²) habitat specialist, is known from 10 locations and declining due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation as a result of coastal development. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion B.

Description
It occurs in sandy soil among rocks, near the seashore.
Threats
It is threatened by ongoing habitat loss and degradation due to coastal and tourism infrastructure development.
Population

A range-restricted species, but locally common in suitable habitat. Extensive population declines have been noted in some locations between 1969 and 2010-2011 (Vosa 2012).
