Family | EUPHORBIACEAE |
National Status |
Status and Criteria | Data Deficient - Taxonomically Problematic |

Justification | This species was described from material collected in northern Namibia (Prain 1912), and was not included in Prain's revision of the South African species (Brown et al. 1920). Subsequently, isolated records from Gauteng and the northern Cape have been matched to the description. The genus Tragia is in need of revision, and many species are poorly known. Due to the uncertainty around the identity of this taxon, its risk of extinction cannot be assessed at present. |
