Justification
A rare montane resprouter known from two locations. It may have very low numbers, but subpopulations need to be surveyed before this plant can be listed under criterion D. There is a severe pine infestation close to one of the known subpopulations posing a potential threat to this species.

Description
Shale soil on south-facing slopes below sandstone cliffs.
