Justification
EOO<1400 km², eight locations remain on small fragments after most of this species' habitat has been transformed for wheat cultivation and it continues to decline due to alien plant invasion, urban expansion and livestock trampling.

Description
Flats or lower slopes of hills often on granite or shale derived soils.
Threats
Agriculture is a past threat to this species. Livestock trampling and grazing remain a threat at Contreberg. Urban development is a past threat in the Durbanville area.
