Justification
A population reduction of 20-25% is estimated based on habitat loss to coastal development around Saldanha, Jacobsbaai, Paternoster, St Helena, Langebaan and Yzerfontein in the past 25 years (generation length 10 years). EOO and AOO <100 km², 15 known locations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss.
