Justification
EOO 7700 km², five known locations continue to decline as a result of coastal development and related changes in fire frequency, alien plant invasion and crop cultivation.

Description
Calcareous soils often associated with limestone dunes.
Threats
Coastal development is a severe ongoing threat throughout its range especially at Cape Agulhas and Danger Point. Lack of fire as a result of coastal development is a severe ongoing threat. Invasive alien species, particularly Acacia cyclops, are causing ongoing habitat degradation throughout this species' range. Crop cultivation is a past and ongoing threat at Bredasdorp and near Still Bay.
