Justification
Delosperma hollandii is a localized species last recorded in 1950. It is possibly locally extinct due to habitat loss to urban and industrial expansion, but field surveys are needed to confirm this.

Description
Its habitat is unknown, it possibly occurs on coastal flats.
Threats
Natural vegetation in area where this species is recorded from continues to be lost and degraded due to urban and industrial development, as well as spreading informal settlements. Very little remains intact, and these areas need to be surveyed to relocate this species in the wild.
Population

This species is known from a few collections from within a very small area along the Swartkops River between Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth. It was last recorded in 1950. It may be overlooked due to taxonomic problems within Delosperma, but may also be very rare or even possibly extinct due to habitat degradation and destruction.
