Justification
EOO 1244 km², known from five locations. Ploughing of this species habitat for wheat and proteas has been severe in the past and is ongoing in the Bredasdorp region. It is also threatened by invasive alien plants, and around Elim is threatened by the expansion of a road (the only subpopulation in the area occurs on a road verge).
