Justification
This species is known from a single collection near Riviersonderend in 1951, much of this area has subsequently been converted to wheat cultivation. It is possibly extinct, and is therefore listed as Critically Endangered (Possibly Extinct).

Threats to this species are unknown, however it has possibly lost suitable habitat to wheat cultivation.
