Justification
This species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 6238 km² and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 76 km². It is known from 13 extant locations but is likely to occur at a few more as it is highly likely to be overlooked due to its small size. It is threatened by habitat loss to crop cultivation, livestock grazing and alien plant invasion. It is therefore listed as Near Threatened, almost meeting criteria B to be listed as Vulnerable.
