Description
Clay soils in renosterveld.
Threats
This species is endemic to Breede Shale Renosterveld, a vegetation type that is already more than 70% irreversibly modified, predominantly as a result of agricultural expansion. Although fairly large patches still remain intact in the Doorn River Valley south of Worcester, these are continually degraded due to livestock grazing and a lack of fire.
