Population

Fewer than 50 plants remain in and near rocky outcrops among ploughed fields, and continue to decline. The only known population occurs near Barrydale, however, the type collection is apparently from east of Prince Albert. Several searches in this area for this species have been fruitless, and the occurrence of this species around Prince Albert is now considered doubtful (Goldblatt and Manning 2011).
