Justification
At least 30% of known locations and habitat have been lost to crop cultivation and urban expansion over the past 50 years. Generation length is unknown, so it cannot be listed under criterion A. It persists in at least 40 sites. Determining generation length is a priority conservation action. For now, the species is listed as Least Concern. More field work is required to determine the population size, structure and trends.

Description
It grows on sandy and granite slopes.
Threats
Threats to this species include: Agriculture, which is severe and ongoing; urbanization, severe and ongoing; plantations (moderate); aliens (moderate and ongoing); quarrying (low). Of the 49 localities represented by the PRECIS specimens, 20 are extinct (ca 40%) at least 30% of locations have been lost over the past 50 years.
