Description
Variable habitats, but particularly common on stony granite, where plants occur firmly wedged in rock crevices.
Threats
There are no known significant past, ongoing or future threats that are likely to lead to this species' extinction.
Population

This species is known from only a few records, but it is in fact fairly common, and just poorly collected, as it flowers later than most other species (Goldblatt and Manning 2014). There are no severe threats to this species and therefore the population is not suspected to be declining.
