Description
Rocky sandstone flats in arid fynbos.
Threats
The Bokkeveld Escarpment around Nieuwoudtville is severely impacted by rooibos tea cultivation, with plantations established in deep sandy soils. This species' particular habitat, shallow sandy soils over sandstone pavements is unsuited to cultivation, and therefore this species is not threatened by habitat loss.
