Justification
This species was previously known from the type collection made in 1983 on the stony flats west of Worcester in the Worcester-Robertson Karoo. This area has subsequently been developed for suburban housing and the species is now extinct at this location. It has been discovered at three other locations, all close to Worcester (EOO<5 km²). These locations are all under severe, ongoing threats from urban and vineyard expansion.
