Justification
An endemic to the Gariep centre, known from four locations in South Africa (EOO 835 km²), and declining as a result of overgrazing and trampling by livestock.

Description
Stony lower slopes.
Threats
All recorded subpopulations in South Africa are threatened by livestock overgrazing and trampling. The whole of this species range within South Africa falls in land that is communally owned and that is currently overstocked with livestock, and lower slopes and flats are already severely degraded.
