Description | Heavy, red clay on dolerite outcrops, as well as tillite and shale derived soils. |
Threats |
Some subpopulations are threatened by habitat loss to crop cultivation. This area is however only marginally suitable to agriculture, with less than 5% currently irreversibly modified. Ongoing agricultural expansion is rare and sporadic, and unlikely to cause the extinction of this species in the near future. |
