Description
Heavy, red clay on dolerite outcrops, as well as tillite and shale derived soils.
Threats
Some subpopulations are threatened by habitat loss to crop cultivation. This area is however only marginally suitable to agriculture, with less than 5% currently irreversibly modified. Ongoing agricultural expansion is rare and sporadic, and unlikely to cause the extinction of this species in the near future.
