Justification
EOO 130 km², known from five locations. Subpopulations that occur on the upper slopes of the Groot Winterhoek Mountains and are not threatened, whereas those on the lower slopes are potentially threatened by vineyard expansion in the northern parts of the Tulbagh valley. All subpopulations are small and this species is known from fewer than 1000 mature individuals.
