Justification
Known from two subpopulations with fewer than 50 mature individuals in total. A third subpopulation was lost to the construction of a dam.

Quartzitic sands.
Threats
One known subpopulation was lost to dam construction — repeated searches in the area have failed to relocate plants. Two other remaining subpopulations are not currently threatened.
