Justification
Known from one subpopulation, 50% of which was lost to infrastructure development. It is declining due to habitat degradation by collecting of firewood and livestock overgrazing. There are fewer than 1000 mature individuals. It is therefore assessed as Critically Endangered under criterion B.

Description
Plants grow in pebbly, loamy soils on south-facing slopes.
Threats
About 50% of this species' habitat has already been destroyed due to infrastructure development, and remaining plants survive in an area that is continually being degraded by overgrazing and firewood collecting.
