Justification
A range-restricted species (EOO 336 km²), known from eight subpopulations, each consisting of fewer than 50 mature individuals (total population size estimated <400 mature individuals) and declining due to ongoing habitat loss to urban and agricultural expansion.

Description
Deep sandy ground, sand over limestone, and crevices in limestone or calcrete pavement.
Threats
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss to urban expansion around Langebaan and Saldanha, as well as expanding crop cultivation on sandveld areas of the Vredenburg Peninsula between Vredenburg and Hopefield.
Population

Ferraria parva occurs as small, scattered clumps of no more than five plants (J.G. Claassens, pers. obs.). It is currently known from eight small subpopulations, estimated to consist of fewer than 50 plants each.
