Fewer than 250 mature individuals remain on a 1 ha road reserve after all other suitable habitat has been degraded by ostrich farming.

Description
Transition between gravel apronveld and gannaveld amongst small shrubs on sandy loam.
Threats
One small subpopulation survives in a road reserve after all other suitable habitat was transformed and degraded due to agricultural expansion, mainly ostrich farming. The population is however not currently threatened.
