Threats
At least 30% of this species' habitat has been lost to crop cultivation in the past three generations. Only four subpopulations remain, one of which was nearly lost in 2004 to expanding crop fields, fortunately as a result of the intervention of the local conservation authority the land was set aside by the landowner for conservation. The remaining three subpopulations are threatened by invasive alien plant encroachment.
