Population |
Less than 30% of this species' lowland renosterveld habitat remains, and this species is now largely extinct on the Cape Flats and Cape Peninsula, where only a few subpopulations remain on small fragments among urban areas. Ongoing habitat loss and degradation is leading to a continuing decline in the population of this species.
