Population

Aloe meyeri is a rare and localized habitat specialist, currently known from three subpopulations in South Africa and one in Namibia. It is likely that more undiscovered subpopulations exist, as this species occurs in a remote and inaccessible area. As there are no known severe threats, the population is not suspected to be declining.
