Range
This species is widespread along the Eastern Cape and the KwaZulu-Natal coast, from Durban to Humansdorp. In the southern part of its range it also extends inland as far as Somerset East.

Description
It occurs in thicket and dense bushveld in river valleys and low-lying areas.
