Description
Mountain streams, moist hollows and on dolerite outcrops.
Threats
There are no severe threats to this species. In the Little Karoo, a small proportion (12%) of its range is cultivated. It is also potentially threatened by moderate to heavy grazing across the Little Karoo and Roggeveld Escarpment.
Population

A widespread, but rare and localized species that is seldom recorded (J.H. Vlok pers. comm.).
