EOO <13 000 km², known from fewer than ten locations, declining due to incorrect fire regime and livestock overgrazing.

Touwsrivier to Matjiesfontein and Montagu, with isolated occurrences at the summit of the Hex River Mountains and Bokkeveld Escarpment south of Nieuwoudtville.

Description
Stony well-drained lower slopes in arid fynbos.
