Description
Coastal lowlands in marshy flats and dune slacks.
Threats
Urbanisation, agriculture, alien plant invasions and coastal housing development are severe past and ongoing threat throughout the range of the species.

Simonstown - extinct; Fish Hoek - extinct; Muizenberg - extinct; Zeekoevlei - extinct; Cape Town - extinct; Camphill Village (Malmesbury); Belleville - extinct; Durbanville - extinct; Blackheath - extinct; Cape Flats - extinct; Faure - severely threatened by aliens and agriculture; Elim; Mierkraal - extinct; Swartklip; Franskraal; Potberg.
