Threats |
There are no severe threats to this species. Parts of its range is severely degraded due to overgrazing, however, Rutherford and Powrie (2010) found cover and abundance of A. tenuis to be unaffected by grazing intensity. |
Population |
This species is widespread and common across the Tanqua Karoo. There are no severe threats to the population, and therefore it is not suspected to be declining.
