Plants grow in river banks.
Threats
It is potentially threatened by rural agricultural practices in the old Transkei area: deforestation and bush clearing have been happening sporadically in this area for hundreds of years and still continuing, so it is likely that this species will soon be threatened if it is not protected in its remaining habitats in the future.
