Description
Plants grow on rocky slopes.
Threats
In the past, this species lost its habitat to agriculture and infrastructure development in some parts of its range. Plants are threatened by spreading alien invasive plants and ongoing loss of habitat to expansion of agriculture and crop field.
Population

It is known from 25 locations and six of the subpopulations in the Western Cape are threatened by habitat loss and degradation. The population is inferred to be declining.
